READER OF THE SPOTLIGHT

MIRANDA
Time surely flies… it’s that time again. It was a delight to interview Miranda Pyatt Howell. She’s married with two beautiful children. She is also attending school. I asked her if she would enlighten me with three things people may not know about her. Miranda loves to dance, cook and sing. In her mind, she’s wonderful. She commented that Beyonce didn’t have anything on her lol. We have two things in common I love to dance and cook, but I can’t sing to save my life lol… Women empowerment at it fullest, it’s time to celebrate another wonderful reader Miranda

  1. Outside of reading what do you like to do? Chill with family & friends.
  2. What is your all time favorite book? I have so many, but I’ll pick Twilight Series.
  3. What are you reading right now? At the time of answering these questions, “Where the Heart is 2”
  4. Favorite book you’ve read last year? Urban Vampire book set by Pepper Pace.
  5. Favorite place to read? Anywhere right now, we’re in the process of buying a house, and I will have my ‘DIVA ROOM’ that’s where I’ll do all my reading.
  6. What makes you love a book? If I can relate, when I become a part of the book.
  7. What will inspire you to recommend a book? If I want to go back to reading it again, before I go read another book.
  8. Favorite genre? I go thru spurts, but the longest has been IR.
  9. Do you have a reading snack? Potato Chips with Sour Cream.
  10. How do you feel about giving bad/negative reviews? I don’t feel bad, because I’m not negative, I really try to let the Author know what I didn’t like.
  11. How many books do you usually read in a month? WOW, I read usually 5 to 7 books a day. I haven’t for the past month, I’ve been in class for work & the homework is killer.
  12. The longest you’ve gone without reading? I was in my teens, and my punishment was, my books were taking from me, for almost a month.
  13. What would cause you to stop reading a book halfway through? Nothing, I can’t, it doesn’t matter how bad it is, I have to finish.
  14. Name a book that made you angry? It was one of those Billionaire books, it started off okay, and then they made the main character turn into a 2 dollar hoar, that book received a negative review, I was just so frustrated, with the Author taking a strong character that was about something with her own business, and making her weak, I couldn’t contain myself.
  15. If you could be a character in a book, who would it be and why? I would like to be the fun, strong character, in most books.
  16. Who are your favorite authors? Ancelli, Rhonda Laurel, Tiana Laveen, Latrivia Nelson, Mallory Monroe, Pepper Pace, Victoria Smith, Raven St. Pierre, Olivia Gaines, I’m liking the authors doing IR with Jessica Watkins Presents, Serenity King, Sienna Mynx, Kenya Wright, Kassanna, I’m sorry if I forgot anyone.
  17. Have you ever considered writing a book? Yes, I have.
  18. What makes you buy a book? If I feel there might be something relatable for me in the story.
  19. Name your most memorable character? Hayley from A New Mommy for Christmas by Olivia Gaines.
  20. If you could change places with a character for one day, who would it be and why? Kim from Urban Vampire by Pepper Pace, she’s fierce, without being manly, she loves 3 different men in 3 different ways, and she takes no shit from anyone, including the men she loves.
  21. What book made you laugh? So many, I can’t name
  22. What book made you cry? The latest Jane by Michelle N. Onuorah
  23. What makes a character an Alpha? When he’s in charge confident, wants the very best for everyone and realizes when he messed up and needs to do damage control, cause he knows when momma ain’t happy, nobody is happy!
