What is love?

According to Merriam-Webster…

Love is a feeling of strong or constant affection for a person. (Maternal love for a child). Attraction that includes sexual desire : the strong affection felt by people who have a romantic relationship. (Affection and tenderness felt by lovers).  Affection based on admiration, benevolence, or common interests. (love for his old schoolmates).

To me love is the strongest emotion you can feel for someone else. Unconditional Love is what God has for us. It’s the love of a mother or father for their children, and a child for their parents. Love can be painful, hurtful, but Love is also beautiful. Love is passion between two people… Love is fire… that can turn into ice. Sometimes you can’t help who you love, it can hits you like a lightning bolt. Love is strange. After all is said and done we have all loved or been loved… and that’s the greatest gift.

What does love mean to you?
